I am very skeptical that an 8kg camera can be mounted on this boom. It all feels too cheap and flimsy to support 15lbs on the load side and 25-30lbs on the counterweights to make it all work. Including 2 pound counterweight threads on the back of the boom, unlike anything I've seen on other weight plates, makes it difficult to find additional counterweights installed. Neewer doesn't sell records to match their boom. Again, I'm skeptical that you can actually download this as they advertise. I suspect this is a typo and you should stick with a load weight of less than 5 pounds.
