Was skeptical at first, dealing with technology that should do something with a simple setting and dissatisfied with the results. THIS IS NOT A SWITCH! It does everything as advertised. It took no more than 3 minutes to connect and so far the app is working great! (contains easy-to-follow instructions if needed) A fan and lamp are attached to the switch, each with different on/off times set in the schedule, and they turn on along with the shutdown specified in the schedule. The slim profile of the switch makes it easy to use a different plug in the wall (see photos). I bought a Meross Wi-Fi garage door opener on the recommendation of a friend which I use in my home and Echo car and works as hoped. .I was looking through the Meross catalog and saw this slim on/off switch which I was hoping could be used in my office as I have two other lamps that can be plugged into this socket. separate schedule function, I will buy another one for this socket. So far I am very satisfied with the technology of this WLAN socket and will update if anything changes. But I think there will be more uses in the office as well as at home.
