I checked old emails and found I bought a set of these in 2004. We stopped using them years ago because the handles fell apart. The cut was good, the looks were good, but the handle design was bad, very, very bad. I even spent half a day carefully fitting the spokes to the wheel and they only stayed together for a week or two. Then I bought an American Test Kitchen recommended Magnum pepper grinder, which worked (and still does) three times as long as a Peugeot. why anyone might buy a Peugeot pepper mill. I feel like I have been scammed and I bought this product for almost $200, cost + tax + shipping. Product of European production. When it comes to pepper mills, forget the Peugeot.
