Worked great. It really "snapped", it fitted perfectly and was sealed (VW CC 2.0 2014). While the latch doesn't keep it unattended while blasting, it provides a good seal and you easily hold it with one hand while operating your blasting gun with the other. Generally, a teaspoon of media exited the vacuum and fell along the treated ridge just below the air intakes. This adapter simplified the whole process, which is to be expected when you have the right gear. I've seen others use the judging setup with towels and hand-cut pieces of cardboard and plastic. And none of this just makes sense when you can get your hands on any of them. Since sandblasting is a regular maintenance recommended every 30,000 miles, you might as well own this IMO. I posted before and after the blast. just damn. Not sure if this will work with my Jetta 1.8 head as the port may be a different size.
