Review on Thermalright TF8 Thermal Compound Paste: High Performance Carbon-Based Heatsink Paste, 13.8 W/mK, CPU Cooler Interface Material - 2 Grams with Tool by Jessie Zdunich

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Most thermal paste are about the same

Pretty good thermal paste, it was part of an experiment on a laptop, I've also used Thermaltake tg-7, Coolermaster THM 50, OEM and Grizzly Kryonaut Now before you buy the snake oil claims, I found the heat pipe and cooling system itself to be barely adequate. In this case I only saw a 2 degree difference between the OEM and the best Kryonaut, all others were within 2 degrees. Just beware of snake oil. Of course there is a conductor, but even if it works, be aware that it will discolour and etch into the copper of any radiator. Who knows if it might even end up destroying the chip's chip.

Pros
  • fingers crossed
Cons
  • Can't remember but there was something
