It's been a little over a month since I bought these ice packs. At first glance they were ok (I wasn't impressed as they were just ice packs). I use 1-2 ice packs 4-5 days a week and so far they have kept my lunch box cool. Unfortunately, the packaging is paper thin and tears easily if you're not careful. I just took the ice pack out of the freezer and ripped one of them. It was important to know how thin and weak the material was. I suggest only buying them if you use a soft cooler. I wouldn't consider them safe for hard plastics or aluminum (soda cans, small storage containers, metal/plastic utensils). Once the liquid begins to thaw, the packaging is very easy to pierce.
