I use it for trail riding and my pony loves it. The mesh keeps bugs away from the ears and the fringes help keep flies and pests away from the face. It's also much more breathable on hot days than the knitted earmuffs I've used before. My friend is a large pony and wears Thoroughbred sizes for halter, snaffle, muzzle etc. It fits well on the ears and forehead but the chin strap is too long for him. It would be nice to be able to adjust the length of the strap for horses/big ponies that don't have big heads.
