Review on Building Pieces 🐒 for Monkeys - Learning Resources by Robert Ryokan

I bought this for my 4 year old son to sit on and play around with. I really like the gears - they are well made and work great with the cranks. The quality is excellent. The finished product here is pretty cool to look at too. But that requires a lot of help from parents. The instructions are not like step by step LEGO instructions, they are very small for the child to follow properly. Unfortunately, the loop mechanism didn't work in the end, so we lost the whole effect. The start of our set didn't go smoothly either. Some of the treetops fell apart because the pins didn't catch small parts of the posts. After we were done I wondered what my son could do with this set by himself. The monkeys and creepers are great, but I'm not sure he can reproduce the effect. Nice toy but not sure I can recommend it.
