If you are just buying a bottle with a wooden cap this is a good buy. If you've bought a quick-cap sports bottle, be warned - the cap smells disgusting if and after it's been left in the heat. It's the silicone. Silicone gives off a terrible smell when heated. The smell lingers forever after overcoming the temperature barrier. I'm not sure if all types/consistencies of silicone have this problem, after all many baby bottle teats don't have this problem, but the problem should be fixed. I love the bottle and the bamboo lid. Renew your sports cap with safer materials that will be chemically attacked.
