I do not recommend in kitchen and bathroom installations

Received on August 16 and used the same day. My Brita jug has had a 'yellow' light since I've had it and now just a few weeks later (now 28th August) it's a red light. Pressed the reset button on the jug more than once with no change. I'm wondering if it was used and repackaged to sell as new. I will not buy it again nor will I recommend it.
