Honestly I'd like to use the version without daytime running lights. Ultimately I didn't want to connect the wiring for the DRL to work and I think it would have looked better without it. Points on the back of the lantern to install the screws. Unfortunately tiny pieces are now rolling around in front of the light. I also feel that the front lens is very weak because the chip has already chipped off the edge. Overall, while this is a good light for the price, I wish there were manufacturer's instructions to avoid the kind of problems you might encounter with the chips I'm experiencing.
