My child likes to chew on these spoons. He might as well use them. They are easy to keep and have enough food for him to put in his mouth. By the way, he's six months old. The packaging states that the food causes discoloration. A portion of sweet potatoes discolored ours. The reason I gave that three stars is because they have tiny little holes where food gets stuck and won't come out even with soaking. I have to pop them like pimples to get the food out and some still stay in. Then I have to pick them out with a toothpick. Why they thought they had to make little holes in the spoon I don't understand. I wouldn't buy them again. Update: The company contacted me and sent me a new production line. The company contacted me and sent me new spoons for the production line. Spoons have no holes. Very happy with the quick response from the company.
