I love the product however I didn’t realize that you could not just throw it in the wash machine. It has a tag on it that says do not machine wash. I can see why because after I hosed it down outside, it was 50 pounds wet! It does dry quickly in the sun though, you will have to wring it out a little before laying it flat either in the grass on top of the picnic table. It should last for many years. Spot cleaning will get most stains out. The top layer is a fleece like material that liquids tend to roll off when spilled so that’s good.
