.Mostly ice cream. I was a bit surprised to see how small it is, but I measured it with water and the size was accurate. The first time I used it after sitting for a few minutes I picked it up and it was pretty chilly outside so I was wondering if that would work well. I took my time eating as I like my ice cream to stand and soften. That was the main reason I wanted something like this. I like ice cream best when it's nice and soft, but when I make it I end up with a puddle if I don't let it soften a bit in the fridge. So I was pleasantly surprised to see that when I finished my portion, although it softened for me, there wasn't a puddle of ice cream left. It worked great. Speaking of service. Although I thought the bowl looked small, it turned out to be a good portion for ice cream. Not too little or too much.
