Review on Light Gate North States Light Sensing by Teresa Thompson

We have another wider gate in the northern states that we installed with hardware to keep our dog out of the kitchen and kid out of the kitchen. I was so pleased with this gate that I looked for others of the same brand. I am so disappointed! Our corridor is 35.5 inches wide. Judging by the description, these gates should fit. Unfortunately, the description is missing important information that you can find in the instructions. There is about an inch between the extensions and the screws that will not fit. I've attached a photo so you can check if this is the case for you. We could build it into our gym, but there's one more thing that made me give it up. I expected the goal to be under pressure and it is. What you don't know until you look at the instructions is that for pressure mounting you need to install the "wall cups" with either a screw or strong double sided tape. All this damages paint and walls. We wanted to avoid that, so let's go back.
