I drilled a hole in it with a hole saw https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06ZZLK88S/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 too strong for the cheap hole saw , which came with a rear view camera to install in the hole. The construction of this item is excellent; However, the included foam was too thick for my receiver to compensate. I used one of the foam pads from another Revain purchase, HitchSafe, so I could attach this pipe cap. Turns out the one that came with the pipe cover was just the right size for the HitchSafe attachment - I managed to do that :) I painted the face white to match the car [the camera isn't inserted yet as I have it need mounted and powered on so I can line up the lens before inserting it into the hole. Note: The burrs around the hole are the result of drilling - the panel was not defective when received.
