He (fault) on the humidity unit is due to a sensor. The device worked fine at first, but eventually started with a long continuous beep due to a bug. I swapped the sensor for the one on ebay. The sensor looked different, but it works. You can also buy it on the Inkbird website. I was able to just connect the wires from the old sensor to the new one. My device is out of warranty.
