Let me start by saying I have replaced many screens over the years, at least 40-50. I never really checked the cables/connectors because they must be new. Also, I've never had any problems. Well I've learned my lesson. Let's start with the little things. I just bought 2. Both had scratched screens. For some reason and somehow they were sent in 2 separate boxes and in one my address was mixed up. But for the worst. As for the scratches, it was for a 6.5 year old, so she figured she'd end up scratching them anyway. But then she tells me there is no sound. At first, after checking the settings, I had no idea it was going to be a screen. But later I try to charge it and now it won't charge. Took it apart again and after some research it was duct tape. You have been abused. It was scratched on the bottom A2H. This is not my first screen repair. I don't use tools to insert tape. Looks like the 3 year old took it with a fork. I managed to get it to play sound from a speaker and load it with a load to push the tape. But come on. Isn't there a QC, a quick look to check it or something? Then I'll do it with my older daughters once it's finally here. She shoots Gacha Life videos using her tablet. At first there were no problems other than scratches on the surface. After about an hour, she can no longer bring up the screen to enter her password. When she spoke to me, it worked. Then, after 20 minutes, you can see that she has touch problems again. It behaves like it's very slow and has a 15 second delay in detecting touch input. So I started to find out. It tries to open the app chooser on the opposite side of the screen. Then everything goes haywire and an electronic seizure ensues. It seemed like someone had hacked into her tablet and taken control of it. I did a hard shutdown and uploaded it to the recovery home page. Did a few things but nothing helped. I disassembled it. The flex cable for the mainboard flex cable has a round cutout in the middle. And a few pins were broken. I didn't tighten it and it actually snapped into place easier than most. My problem is that since the vast majority of the pins snapped, I had no idea that the pins that were broken and made contact at the highest point were now bent pins on the motherboard. Luckily I can only replace one screen. As for bent pens, I have a digital microscope and tools to fix my tablet because I do a lot of electronic work as a hobby. But I know there isn't much. Really... DON'T BUY THIS SCREEN!
