I purchased this to help my mother, the caregiver for my dad. Dad uses his walker to go to another room and if he needs assistance he presses the button, my mother hears the alarm and comes to the rescue. It's important for my dad who has mobility issues to WEAR the alarm. This an affordable device and great for someone who does not live alone and has someone there to assist/call for emergency service if needed. I gave this device 4* as my parents haven't had the device long enough to test for battery life and such.
