Our bathroom is on the north side of the house and is somewhat shaded by the garage. At 10,000 feet in the high Rocky Mountains, this bathroom is cold most of the year. I use it at low temperature and it heats up the bathroom well and protects the mirror from steam. A normal fan option would be good in the summer to pull cool air through the window as not many people have air conditioning and we don't need it either, but it can get a bit warm. So far so good, but now I would recommend it. I don't use it in a very large room, so I don't have any information about it.
