ProsGreat way to optimize shelf space for a limited floor space and materialThe wood grain design fits in with much more expensive acacia wood and Walnut furnitureSturdy enough to be filled with hardcover books and a few small electronics without reinforcement against the wallConsThe Allen key screws that attach the wooden spine to the shelves are rather an eyesore, poke out, and are not easily masked. So, while it's shelf could be free standing from a structural perspective, you probably wouldn't want the back of it to be visible.
