Worked great with the original filter that came with it, but the replacement filters offered were too big even when the instructions were followed closely. At least half an inch more the tank doesn't sit flush. Customer service used a scripted response that repeated useless instructions. By using the filter as often as you need to if you want to flip the filter every time you fill the tank as directed you will be going through 5-7 filters a week. The replacement filter has a sharp metal mesh that scratched me when I followed the instructions for wetting and bending the filter into shape. I'm fine - it was minor but I'm also immunocompromised which could be a problem as I'm very susceptible to infections. If they had suitable replacement filters, I would be very happy about the device. How it is now It's too much work. I returned mine.
