Good things first they are shiny, open/close nice and tight, look flawless and are hallmarked 925. Applied. They stick to the magnet so the coating is clearly visible as pure silver does not get magnetized. They're good enough for my standard beads, but since I don't know what's under the plating or how thick the silver is, I wouldn't use my expensive beads with them. I don't know how long they will last or break. The stars are simply for how well they work and look right out of the box. I will no longer buy from this seller due to malicious product information. On August 13, 2017, they answered questions from customers stating that it was sterling silver. Pure lies.
