Great backpack for our kindergarten child. In the large main compartment there are four pockets for storing school supplies. On the outside of the backpack there is a small compartment, a flap with a pocket and a compartment for a water bottle. There are also a few design touches that stand out, like the drawstrings that thread through the backpack's fabric and two cute little pompoms that attach to the backpack. All this to say that our little one can discover an infinite number of small details and she loves it. This backpack has form (it's beautiful) and function. The fabric is also thick and durable and looks like it will stand the test of time. And that's a good thing, because although the size is just right for a 5-year-old, she still has room to grow.
