My Wi-Fi connected laptop and TV are on a different floor than my old existing router. I ordered an AC 2100 router to reduce buffering and streaming issues on our TV and slow internet connections. This new Rockspace router took care of the buffering and slowness issues on both of my devices. BTW, while installation instructions are provided, their customer service rep Maurice made setup quick and easy. He is very knowledgeable, patient, has answered a million questions and speaks clear English. I also bought their AC2100 repeater/extender due to the distance and number of walls and stairs between my routers, TV and laptop. The expander provided an additional increase in performance. I continue to use my Verizon Fios router as it includes a modem and is required for my linked Fios TV and phone service. I use a Rockspace router and extender for better Wi-Fi connectivity.
