My Wi-Fi connected laptop and TV are on a different floor than my old existing router. I ordered an AC 2100 router to reduce buffering and streaming issues on our TV and slow internet connections. This new Rockspace router took care of the buffering and slowness issues on both of my devices. I upgraded my Linksys router with this Rock Space AC2100 but I didn't use any ethernet cables at all. I just put this router on a bench in the hallway and use it in WiFi repeater mode connected to my main MOFI4500 router.
