Review on Logitech M510 Blue Wireless Mouse with USB πŸ–±οΈ Unifying Receiver - Comfortable Shape, Back/Forward Buttons and Side-to-Side Scrolling by Kichiro ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Nice price, good quality.

I've been using the mouse for over a year now. Prior to that, I worked with a cheap Logitech RX 650 wireless mouse - a very uncomfortable model. Since the purchase, the M510 has been running on alkaline batteries, which I removed from the desktop alarm clock, due to the fact that they began to do their job poorly - I decided to finish them off in the mouse. During the operation, the M510 periodically dived to the floor from various hills, the height of which, however, did not exceed 1 meter, but there were no consequences. After a short period of getting used to, the device does not distract attention to itself - it lies well in the hand and does not cause fatigue during prolonged use. I carry my laptop in my backpack all the time. At first I was afraid for integrity, but now, without much thought, I throw bags into the bosom. I chose it, not least guided by taste preferences. I liked the oblong shape and rubberized insert. The holes in it, by the way, do not get clogged with dirt. From an objective point of view, this is not a bad, for its price, office mouse with good build quality and simply amazing duration of work, the miniature receiver of which fits perfectly in one of the USB sockets of my laptop and has not reminded of itself since then. The only moment that overshadows the use of the mouse is the need to carry a mouse pad with you, since the mouse is quite capricious to the type of surface, but with it the positioning and responsiveness, in this class of devices, are almost ideal. For these purposes, I bought a small rag rug with a rubberized back surface and got used to it in six months. 2022-05-07 Bought the same model a year ago. At home, two years ago, the middle key (wheel button) began to act up. I had to replace the button with a button from the side key. Six months later, the problem recurred. The rest is stable. Upgrading to 4.5.

Pros
  • - low power consumption; - good quality materials; - good assembly; - small receiver; - nice design.
Cons
  • - behaves well only on a monotonous rag rug.

Got pros: buttons for scrolling pages, workmanship, pleasant to the touch rubber Its cons: not ergonomic, maybe for a female hand
