Review on πŸ–οΈ Smart Color Art Gel Pens: A Vibrant Set of 140 Colors for Adult Coloring, Drawing, Painting, and Writing by Wendy Rodriguez

worth your money.

This and other similar pen sets appear to be from the same factory (I also have a smaller 108 color set from Courie; http://amzn.to/2sSBwjn), but they always are fun art tools. Unlike pencils, you don't smear them. If you have a wide range of colors, each one slightly different, you're pretty good at blending. These ink sticks don't last long, but replacement cartridges (http://amzn.to/2sP2mJk) cost less than $8 for 120 colors. The different metallic shades look really impressive on paper. By ratings I mean that most pens have coarse, medium and fine glitter in their ink. The subtle sheen is a buttery soft metallic satin that is simply gorgeous. I was very surprised that sequins flow out of the pens so smoothly, even that roughness felt on paper. There are 4 pens in the set, which are artistically useless. These are whirlwinds. Swirl pins are filled with alternating colors. They only ever write in one color, so "why?" becomes a question. Give them to the kids to take them to school. Another downside I see that seems to come from all sources is the lack of dark yellow tones. I'm updating this review to reflect this as I'm currently trying to color a smeared amber motor oil and neither kit has a pen that looks right.
