Review on 🌡️ GlowShift Black 7 Color 260 F Transmission Temperature Gauge Kit: Car & Truck Electronic Sensor - Black Dial - Clear Lens - 2-1/16" 52mm by Mike Flyers

I bought this transmission gauge for my Ford Super Duty as I am towing a 5 wheel RV and was curious as to what is going on with my transmission temp. Since we often camp in the mountains, we often drive on steep gravel roads or maneuver in places that are difficult to access. This sensor opened my eyes to how quickly the temperature in my transmission was rising! Any transmission temp sensor will work, but I've looked for one that has the same digit increment. Many had good spacing at lower temperatures, but then compressed or changed from a 20 degree spacing to 30 or 40 degrees at higher temperatures. This sensor has a great backlight that allows you to change colors. I found the contrast with blue worked well for my vision even in bright daylight. It would have been nice if the kit had longer wires, say 6ft long, hence a 4 star rating. The kit must be supplied with wiring. Packing a little in a box wouldn't cost that much. This gauge came with wires about 20 inches long, and I had to buy some wire to complete the installation. The sensor fits right into a hole in the gearbox, so that's a plus on that side. I would recommend this sensor, or any other GloShift sensor, to anyone who needs to keep an eye on what's going on with their car.
