This replacement battery worked perfectly in my Makita 6221D drill. Much better than buying a new drill and less expensive than a retail battery.

The unit completely came apart when removed from the box! Not sure how the springs go in? The battery was not usable.Update: The vendor responded in a timely manner and replaced the defective battery...the new one arrived is working fine.
