Definitely Waterproof
I am 5' 3" tall and weigh 144lbs. I would have originally bought a L but I decided on an XL and the fit was comfortable with or without layers. I was going to Alaska and to make sure waterproof I wore the jacket in the shower and it did not leak/get wet inside jacket. I wore it on a cruise excursion and I was on deck the entire time and it rained 6 of the 8 hrs we were out in the ocean. The jacket was perfect!
- The lining is exactly what I wanted.
- May not provide enough pocket space for storage
