Review on 💡 Compact Miroir M289 Portable LED Projector: 1080p Native Resolution, Rechargeable Battery, HDMI & USB-C, 2-Year Warranty (Renewed) by Brian Sage

I've spent days reviewing portable projectors and this one is hard to beat. We mounted it on a tripod with a pivoting ball that takes care of the smallest of adjustments and projected it onto a sloping ceiling about 10ft across, and HD 1080p here makes it look nice and clear even from 10ft away . There aren't any settings to customize, which might be a downside for some, but for easy setup and use, it's pretty reliable. The device gets quite warm during use, but there are no problems after a few longer surfing sessions. I don't really intend to go below that lumen rating as it gives you the ability to use it throughout the day. Note that the fan is noisy, not as loud as some pico projectors, but noticeable in a quiet scene. Firestick takes care of all of our streaming needs. It's also a great companion for Nintendo Switch, the power bank needed to power the HDMI adapter (39W+) also charges this projector with the same power as a wall power bank, allowing two 60 -W power banks can meet my outdoor gaming needs for outdoor gaming. Days if necessary. Alternatively, a single 20,000mAh external battery should offer over 20 hours of playtime, which could cover late-night entertainment on a long hike, although you'll need to bring something to output movies (phone, etc.). Edit: After testing, USB-C charging doesn't work. Although the manual says it can charge from the port, it only shines when connected to an AC power source. It only pulses between switch-on brightness and battery brightness and does not charge even when switched off. According to the manufacturer, the USB-C port can charge the device, but this is not possible with an external battery. I would suggest bad PD logic. This device is way too loud, and with a constantly spinning fan, you have to be careful about orientation and placement, especially outdoors or in dusty environments. Also of note is that Auto Keystone works fairly well, but doesn't compensate for off-center projection, so it should be right in the middle of the screen area, unless you don't mind shrinking one side and stretching the other. As a result I found that while sitting or standing I would encounter it as it was quite close to my feet, passers-by would snag the power cord as it is relatively short and a must for longer sessions. Almost, but not quite. I think this device will be returned and I will wait for the next generation.
