Whatever rubber is made of, it's toxic and smells horrible!
Haven't used these yet but I had (2) which I bought while sitting in the kitchen and my husband couldn't understand what that awful smell was and we finally understood, what it was. Those were brooms, the rubber on them is poisonous, and I've never felt anything so bad. We put them in the garage to see if they are ventilated.
