I really like Topeak products and it didn't disappoint. Having already installed a few of these, I knew some tricks for attaching them to the handlebars. One thing you need to do is find a suitable gasket and test it to make sure it will fit. If it closes completely and is still not attached to the handlebars, take a utility knife and cut until there is a gap of about 1/8 inch. Pictured is the bag and mount installed on my wife's old Lotus 12. The bike is about 40 years old. The mount is secure and I couldn't move it with medium to high force. I didn't use the cable that came with it, but I can if the case slips off.
