Works with some effort, but runs very small

A well-made case, as you'd expect from Topeak. The conversion to a bum bag is why I bought this, but the process is a bit clumsy and time-consuming - you have to pull out and fasten a separate belt before wrapping it around your waist. I would agree with this limitation, but the bag was too small for my needs. I'm sad because it's very hard to find a handlebar bag that doubles as a hip bag.

Good handlebar bag suitable for cycling

This is a good handlebar bag if you don't want to carry a lot of stuff. I like that other Topeak handlebar bags attach to the attachment system. I also have a tour guide and it fits snugly into the handlebar mounting system. For me, this is best for city commuting, bike lanes, etc. Easily fits my phone, sunglasses, snacks and other small personal items. I personally don't think a bum bag makes sense because I wouldn't use it as a bum bag. The fastening system is very stable and does not slip…

Cute little bag: Bike Pack Accessories

I really like Topeak products and it didn't disappoint. Having already installed a few of these, I knew some tricks for attaching them to the handlebars. One thing you need to do is find a suitable gasket and test it to make sure it will fit. If it closes completely and is still not attached to the handlebars, take a utility knife and cut until there is a gap of about 1/8 inch. Pictured is the bag and mount installed on my wife's old Lotus 12. The bike is about 40 years old. The mount is secure

I think they sold me a used bag, don't believe them!

Although I paid for a new bag I only received the bag. No hardware to attach, no cable to attach, no accessory mount to add a phone mount. Just a sack in a plastic bag tied in a knot. They definitely tried to sell me the returned bag and they didn't even check that all the parts were there. Shady, buy from another seller. The bag itself is excellent, I already have one and I took another for my center. This is the perfect little pouch for your cell phone or bike computer with the optional mount

Well made bag nice attachment design wish it was bigger

Really well made bag the attachment is very easy to use to take the bag off the bike and the handlebar attachment is very handy when They are useful to install a computer or headlights. Although I wish it was a bit bigger and this is where the Topeak design confuses me because I don't see a way to use it as a belt pouch. If Topeak took off the waist belt and buckle and made it a little larger to fit in a wallet, that would be perfect. I can barely fit my small cable lock, phone, small towel and

Use it all the time!

I carry this bag almost every time I ride my bike - I love it. The material is very strong, keeps its structure and I love how easy it is to put on and take off. This gives me a lot of flexibility when running errands and being able to just hop off the bike, open the Topeak and carry it around like a handbag. I have a track hybrid. Unfortunately the mount was too big for my handlebars but I wrapped it in black tape to fill the gap and now the mount is perfectly tightened. He doesn't move. The…

Very happy with the best bike bag accessories

Topeak compact handlebar bag I'm sure other handlebar bags are easier to install but THIS IS WORTH YOUR TIME AND BE PATIENT. I almost gave up and sent it back. I'm glad I didn't have a Trek 7300 and it took a while to fit. I had to use small pieces of rubber. Don't be discouraged because this is a great product. I bought it for the Erie Canal Tour. I kept my wallet, cell phone, sunscreen and energy bars in it. When I stopped for lunch, I slipped my GPS in and carried it like a fanny pack. The…

Perfect for my needs! Good bag.

Got it. Easily assembled. Some confusion due to 3 screws and different sizes. Had to look at the instructions after I removed them to assemble and then mixed them up. Roger that. I don't intend to use tether wire. Other reviews seemed to suggest that this isn't essential for a compact bag. The bag itself will accomplish the mission I have in mind as a casual racer. I want somewhere to keep my wallet, keys and phone out of the way. The pocket is perfect for these items with a corner that's…

Much less usable space than I expected.

It says it's a 2 liter bag. But that's not the case. A lot of space is lost between the built-in padded dividers and the whole bag with extra thick lining and rain mesh in the lid. I put my phone in, a small battery, and a small soap dish and that was pretty much all that fit in with no effort. and other things fall away. I don't expect to stuff a million things into my handlebar bag, but I don't want to worry about things falling out during use. And I just don't want to put more than 2…
