My cat jumped onto the spikes as if they weren't there and just gently walked over them and then started trying to lift the mat off the surface to play with the mat even.

This product does not fit, as you can see in the video I posted you can see the cat walking right on it, don't bother this cat let alone when you are using this Product received It's in the roll so when you try to roll it out it wants to bounce back and roll up again, there really aren't any good clips or spikes that can really keep it in the ground. I would not recommend this product as it does not work clearly in the video I am posting with this review
