Review on 🦋 Melissa & Doug Butterfly Creation Kit by Joe Gosa

My daughters got this for Christmas and I thought it would give them something to do for a few days and maybe the quilt would be special because they made it themselves. I underestimated the time it would take to assemble this monster. My daughter worked on it on the side for about two weeks and didn't get halfway through it. My other daughter complied and donated the remaining samples to her sister. I've even tried to finish it a couple of times and it's so agonizingly repetitive that I give up after a few squares. It's not like knitting or anything else where muscle memory can take over. You must be very careful to line up the correct piece with the appropriate piece or the whole square will fall out. What's really disappointing is that it's made of a very thin material. Even if we ever finish it, it won't work as a blanket. More novelty than functionality.
