These safe and fun solar flame torches have already decorated the garden that goes around the house and patio.Since our patio is made out of wood, we wanted a flame less lighting that would match the rest of the torches. We have previously considered purchasing the same larger torches but they are expensive at $12-15 a piece and looked very large for mounting on a 2 x 4 wooden patio railing. These are about 3 inches in diameter at the top and 4 inches at the largest part of the torch center. The light are posts are made of lightweight plastic and are weatherproof for mounting outdoors. We use a spade bit and drilled a round hole and inserted the tube into our railing to hold these torches upright and in place.
