A few guides will help!

As there was very little guidance or instruction I will share what we did. (My daughter is 7.5 years old and she loves it!) 1) We painted the inside of the glasses with a thin layer of glue (attached). We poured in some glitter, closed the necks of the jars with pressed foil (you can also use aluminum foil). We then shook the jars to let the glitter penetrate. We let it dry for 40 minutes but you could use longer. 2) Using hot glue (not included) we attached the flowers and butterflies to the top of the lids. We tried not to stick elements too close to the power button for easy access later. I put in batteries (AAA, not included, only 4 needed) and turned on the light. We then placed the onions in the jars and screwed on the lids. 3) We used a podge mod (not included) to paint part of the outside of the glass. Then we placed the black silhouette shapes on the mod pod and drew another layer of the mod pod on top of the shapes. Note: We did not use the included stickies and did not place the black shapes INSIDE the lenses. Outwardly they look much better. We let the mod dry overnight. 4) The daughter happily decorated the outside of the jars with the huge array of sticky gems provided. Seriously, there are so many! We also used some ribbons and really enjoyed the decoration. 5) We didn't use the silver charms that were included, but if you want to use them you can just attach them to the end. better with some needlework that we already had on hand. With the parents' help, I think kids around the age of 4 or 5 will enjoy it. I think that an unassisted child must be at least 9 years old to work alone.
