Fairy Lantern Craft Night Supplies Review

We made them at a sleepover for 8 year old girls, whole mythologies about our fairies, their style and what each item in the lantern symbolizes, it was an absolute blast and out of them make great nights. The set leaves a lot of room for creativity, a "instructions" was definitely missing. We had a few leftover pieces that ended up in other craft projects. I highly recommend this product, super fun.

Bought for my friend's daughters. She said that the girls like to decorate the lanterns, carry them with them and use them as night lights. I think this gift is a fun craft for almost any age, I see a lot of these crafts on Pinterest geared towards young people. You can decorate with anything, not necessarily just the things that come in the box, they're pretty cute. Definitely a great gift.

Such a great set! My daughter loved it, both glasses turned out beautifully (one is not pictured as she stayed with her grandparents). The kit is exactly as described and I will likely buy more as gifts. Also, my daughter likes to use it as an extra night light - she no longer bothers me with how dark her room is. Bonus: There are still plenty of leftover decorations for other projects!

We love making arts and crafts. It's very cool because you can not only design your own design, but also a night light. The girls made them a few weeks ago but wanted to see how the night light would work before writing their review. too bright, just a soft glow and still strong. The perfect gift or project to do together that they can actually keep and use. Will definitely keep an eye out for different styles.

Definitely too expensive for what you get, but the nieces really liked it. They make a lot of glitter but use only a small pinch or if you apply even a very thin layer the glitters will not show through the glass. They give you way more decoration items than you can use. They should give you less supplies and take less. You can make something like this for a fraction of the price just by buying craft supplies from the dollar store. The kit could not be made as directed. It was a brilliant catastrophe. I expected the glitter to be all over the place after having to smear the glitter all over the inside of the jar which of course resulted in me trying to shake it. There was even a mess with the cover. Once that was done we let them sit for 20 minutes and then tried to add the cut outs. The glue was still wet in places, which soiled the fingers with fine glitter. We let them sit for another hour and they still had wet spots.

I don't know if some of these reviews are fake or what but these lights don't burn as bright as some of the photos. They blink for about 30 seconds and then go off forever. Then you can smell the burning wire and the batteries get so hot you literally can't touch them. The entire top of the plastic part was so hot and the inside where the batteries are located was so hot that a child could get burned. This is a fire hazard. It also smells burnt here. As there was very little guidance or instruction I will share what we did. (My daughter is 7.5 years old and she loves it!) 1) We painted the inside of the glasses with a thin layer of glue (attached). We poured in some glitter, closed the necks of the jars with pressed foil (you can also use aluminum foil). We then shook the jars to let the glitter penetrate.
