From a tech perspective, I think these are probably the best headphones out there right now (March 2019). They do everything they say and this is a really high quality product. The catch is that they are difficult to set up and manage. Sony's software for Macbook and iOS is *very* simple and there's no getting around it. You can't rename the device in the Sony app, you can't lock it so other users don't try to connect (which is more likely since names can't be changed), and the iOS app looks very clunky, like in kindergarten - no, what I would like. Expect a $330 product from a big company like Sony. I'll keep them anyway because I think the benefits outweigh the costs and I'm not too worried about my headphones being stolen by my colleagues and fellow travelers. I think it's worth noting that the poor design of the supporting software makes this feel like a work in progress, and given the cost of the product, I think that's an unacceptable standard.
