Good radio for the price It's big and I wouldn't recommend putting it in a regular car. But works great in a full size truck or maybe a van with lots of under dash or overhead space. It is difficult to say anything about the quality of the radio, since a lot depends on the quality of the antenna and the settings. But it seems to be working fine. If given a chance to do this again, I would opt for a smaller radio that scans all channels rather than locking one channel at a time. This was different 10 years ago when all trucks went east/west. uses a specific channel. But now it's scattered across all channels. But if in doubt, go to chap. 19 On the downside, when I received the radio, the case had a few dents. Maybe from the pre-assembly right? (I don't think it was during shipping) but it doesn't seem to affect its performance.
