I have tried many hand creams to find one that works for my very dry skin. This hand cream from CO Bigelow smells nice and feels light and silky, but it's probably best for those who already have healthy skin. longtime fan of CO Bigelow products; I love their hand washes and my husband swears by their hair and body washes. So I fully expected that I would love this hand cream. My hands feel smooth and silky right after application; but the effect does not last very long and does not penetrate very deeply into my too dry skin. And while I like the light, fresh scent of Aqua Mellis, the scent feels a bit artificial. When I checked the ingredients, the word "perfume" popped up about 1/3 of the list. So if you're sensitive to synthetic fragrances, you might not be a fan of it. All in all, if you enjoy CO Bigelow's scented bath and body products and are looking for a lightweight hand cream to help maintain your skin's current moisture balance, you'll probably love this CO Bigelow Aqua Mellis Hand Cream. However, if you're looking for a stronger hand cream that can combat very dry skin, you may find that this cream isn't quite up to the task.
