I bought this to use with my DeWalt planer. Installation was easy, no instructions were used but I referred to the schematics. It looks very similar to the Woodcraft base model I put together last weekend. It sits flat and fits the stand exactly as I expected. Moves well as I have a concrete floor. I've seen reviews that had issues with the reel lifter arms, but I think they may have overtightened the bolts. The block is easy to lift and feels solid and well made. I would recommend this for most tools with a base mount under 300 pounds. I know the stated limit is 400, but with heavier tools you should always choose a stronger base!
