Review on πŸ”Š Altec Lansing inMotion iM7 Portable Audio System for iPod (White): Immersive Sound On-the-Go! by Robert Lodge

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good sound but in portable audio and video

Unlike others here, I thought this was HUGE! I don't know, maybe I was expecting a smaller size for a portable player. The sound was GOOD, but it didn't blow my mind either. I find my Sony ghetto blaster is a bit bigger and the sound is much better! So yes it was good, I got it and took it out, plugged it in, listened to the iPod, changed the song and BOOM my new 30GB iPod froze. It did it for me, packed it back up and here we go. Now forgive me if I'm wrong, but isn't that what you're buying an IPOD for? I've read other reviews on here about this stone cold thing but thought so many hadn't complained I'd give it a try. If your iPod freezes, something is NOT compatible while charging. Also, like I said, I can use my boom box if I want to take something that big with me. I wanted a portable speaker system with good sound. I know it won't sound great, but I'm a photographer and I'm out on the weekends and at the end of the day I want to at least enjoy good sound with a glass of wine. I don't want to lug a huge set of speakers in the trunk for that purpose, both inside and out, so I'm going to try the Ifusion now. I'm sure it won't have great sound, but it's definitely portable, and if it just sounds good then I'm fine. I gave this device 4 stars because of the FREEZE feature, which to me is no small feat when you've just spent money on your sweet IPOD. It must be COMPATIBLE to charge while playing. Also, it's a great sounding boom box for your iPod. :)
