When it came, I eventually realized that none of the 8 so-called options could be allowed for a door 1 3/ 4" although they claim to work with doors up to 3". None of their 2 1/8" "options" will actually allow you to walk through a 1 3/4 door unscathed. My package also came with small rolls in two sizes. One wasn't big enough for the head of its bolt to scratch the door. There was a new improved version they sent me. 20 emails and two deliveries later, a usable replacement arrived. I doubt it would handle a 1-1/2 inch door. about handling my standard 1-3/4 inch door. I am sure that with careful installation everything will work fine. All retailers appear to be selling virtually the same product, possibly from the same manufacturer. Much luck
