It has a very strong chemical odor compared to silicone/plastic. Very strong and smelly!

Just received today. The plastic smells horribly of chemicals. You can smell it from 3 meters away. I washed it with Dawn dish soap and put it outside in the hot Tennessee sun to see if that would take away the chemical smell. If not, it will be returned. I can't stand it next to food.
