I don't like ironing. In fact, I could probably count on the fingers of one hand how many times I've petted in any given year. However, when I recently went through my closet, I found that I have a lot of clothes that I love but just can't wear because they're too wrinkled. And since I usually rush to work in the morning, I rarely have time to iron in the morning. In some cases I've used a damp washcloth, a crumpled object, and the 5-minute "ironing" method with dye, which, as you can imagine, isn't always very effective. Locked in my need for a good starch to help with my ironing skills. After reading some reviews about this product I decided to give it a try. I'm so glad I did. What I love about this product is that it feels like an aromatherapy iron to me. The day before I took the time to iron various things so I always had something nice to wear when I needed it. i love the scent Very fresh, clean, sweet scent. It helps get rid of stubborn wrinkles in my clothes and makes them nice and freshly ironed. As the anti-iron person that I am, ironing has become a fun chore. I was afraid of stains mostly because the starch isn't transparent, it's actually colored purple. I've had no problem dying clothes purple with starch. But I had a problem finding one of my dresses. It didn't matter much and the stains washed off easily, but I had to keep that in mind. Overall I like this product very much. I have bought several bottles of the product and will continue to buy it. I am removing a star due to a stain issue on one of my dresses. I really wish they would offer the lavender scent in a clear, uncolored version, but it is. In summary: Advantages: 1. Starch helps remove stubborn creases that cannot be easily ironed out by dry ironing. I like the delicate scent of lavender which makes my clothes smell fresh and clean.3. Ironing is fun and therapeutic for me. Cons: 1. Some types of fabric may have stains. In my experience, stains wash off easily.2. It would be nice if the starch was transparent and didn't turn purple.
