So advanced, but still.

Pro's Scans well when font size is slightly larger (10), line spacing in MS Word is at least one space, and on plain, untextured or plain paper. Looks good, fits well in the hand thanks to the rubber grip, the same rubber grip prevents the device from slipping when the device is placed on a glass surface. The program can be easily downloaded from the supplied CD (or website) and the on-screen instructions are easy to use and intuitive. Accuracy was good under the above conditions. It managed to fill the Excel spreadsheet without errors (if the text was recognized successfully). Claims to work and translate many languages (I haven't tested this feature - only worked with English). Being left-handed I had no problems - there are many left-handed options to balance the right-handed people in the world. It is needed to scan check issuers. Personalized information, date and dollar amount from checks to Excel spreadsheet. It has never been able to recognize handwritten information (I apologize for that). He could not read names or addresses from personal or commercial checks. Nor could he reliably read the dollar amount on any of the checks. Bank checks often have fine print and colored backgrounds that confuse the machine. Also, the line spacing on receipts is often very narrow, making it difficult to accurately track or identify the device when, for example, the amount is written as *****15.00. He doesn't admit it. This makes it practically useless for the only application I need it for. I only give 4 STARS because of my admiration for technically elegant devices. The included cable is short and only works when I have a laptop connected to the scan pen and the laptop is on a desk. The cable is too short to connect to a computer on the floor or under a table. The box it comes in is very pretty, but it's really big, what a waste of space/material. Manufacturers want their products to stand out and stand out in the seller's window. The included pen holder would have been nice to keep your pen off your work surface when not in use. Right now you put it on the side on your desktop or take it off your computer and put it away each time. The instruction warns you that you can only use it on one device (computer). Why ? I paid for it, I'm the only user, I want to download it on as many computers as I want. What logic is this - just upload the program to a computer // PLEASE! Be reasonable. There is a protective nib cap that has limited movement, you have to fiddle around to get the cap in place, unlike a regular ballpoint pen cap that you can just put on blindly. Handle. Even the arrow mark on the device and the pen cap would allow correct alignment of the pen cap when placed.
