In the past the plastic thread holding the brush broke very easily. Otherwise a great brush. If you dilute the soap, it can also be spread well. Good news! The broken #4 brush replacement I just received is actually better made than in the past. Rather than molding the threaded brush holders out of clear, brittle plastic, they have a thicker and less brittle white plastic base glued to them. It appears to be the same material as the brush but more durable. Time will tell, but I'm glad the manufacturer is paying attention to the breakage problem. If they brought back the old design feature where the brush not only screws on but also snaps on the outside edge with this new white plastic design it would be a top notch product. Time will tell. If the new style breaks I'll update this post, but I'm optimistic it will stay safe and sound.
